Share the Glow was established in 2015, in memory of Kara Lyn Ratliff-Lust, who was an avid marathon runner. Kara's passing from esophageal cancer raised an amazing awareness to always Share Your Glow. In memory of those lost to cancer - to keep their glow alive, and to raise funds for graduating seniors at Elgin High School, ShareTheGlow.org was incorporated as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3). Annually, ShareTheGlow hosts kids runs, activities, bouncy houses, knockerballs, putt-putt, raffles, music, and The Memorial Sunset Run and Glow Walk, to bring the glow of loved ones to a family-friendly and competitive race environment.
